Kirtland's Warbler - Jack Pine Bird - Set of 5 A2 Notecards with Envelopes
A pair of rare Kirtland's warblers (Setophaga kirtlandii) roost together on a branch of jack pine. This Michigan native nests exclusively in new-growth jack pine trees that spring up after a forest fire; until recently, fire suppression measures nearly drove the bird into extinction. This set of five matching A2 notecards features my original watercolor illustration of male and female Kirtland's warbler.
Cards feature a blank interior to inscribe your own message. Each card is giclée printed using archival pigment inks on 216 GSM acid-free matte card stock, and trimmed and folded by hand by the artist. Please allow for minor variations due to differences in screen calibration and the handcrafted nature of this item. Arrives in a cellophane envelope.
